Almost all puppies are born with intestinal parasites. These parasites have the potential to be transmitted to people. We recommend that you bring in a fecal sample with each puppy visit so we can screen for these parasites and deworm your puppy as necessary.

​​​​​​​Since these parasites can also be found in infected dirt, fleas and on wild animals, we recommend that you bring in a fecal sample with you for each annual visit as well.
