Shaker Hill Pet Spa
Joelle Chapman - Certified Professional Pet Stylist 
Joelle completed her grooming certification in 2003 and worked at Petco in Pittsfield as a professional stylist for more than three years. Joelle heads up our Pet Spa and is experienced in all breed grooming and clipping. She lives in Pittsfield with her many four legged friends including: Emery a Doberman, Kiana an Australian Shepherd X, Ronin is a Rottweiler X, a fluffly white kitten, Tsume and Daisy the Bichon Firse. Joelle enjoys hiking with the dogs, horseback riding and snowboarding.
 Laura J. Graham - Certified Professional Pet Stylist
After several positions at Petco as Grooming Assistant, Groomer, and Salon Manager, Laura has joined our team at the Shaker Hill Pet Spa. Laura received her Certified Professional Grooming certification in 2005 and also holds college degrees: BA English Literature, MA English Literature and PhD from UCLA in Theatre.
Laura says "after years of reading plays, analyzing characters and directing actors, it's fun and insightful to bring these skills to Pet Styling. Owners might be surprised to learn what performers their pets can be - The Drama Queen, The Tragic Prince, The Little Clown. Reading animals may not be as easy as reading plays, but they're far more lovable".
Visiting her cousin's horse farm in Greenville, NY and spending time at her family homestead in her native NYC are some of Laura's favorite things to do along with kayaking, cooking, gardening, creative writing and animal rescue. Members of Laura's animal kingdom include: Sasha a Pug mix, Stella an Amstaff, Papoose the Bull Terrier, Lily an English Pointer, Pinto a Beagle mix, Chaps a 17 yr. old Siamese, Harry the Lovebird, Athens the Parakeet and the smallest member Alphie, the Betta.
Jessica Biros
Bath/Brush Assistant
Jessica is our part-time assistant and enjoys each and every pet clients that she works with. Jessica graduated Berkshire Community College and has worked at the River Road Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant and as a kennel attendant. She enjoys golf, hiking and rollerblading.
