Hospital Staff - Veterinary Technicians
Deb Remillard

Deb has been working here for more than 10 years. She started at the old white house at the bottom of the hill with Dr. Perry. Deb is a graduate of the Berkshire Community College Animal Health Program and holds a Certificate as an Animal Health Technician. Deb lives in Pittsfield with her husband Kenny and three children; Brendon, Jacey and Bryce. Furry family members include: Copper, an English Toy Spaniol and Zoe a Lhasa Apso. The two new puppies are Lola, Jacey's Shih-Tzu and Gus, a laid back Boxer/Rottweiler cross (a Boxweiler?) Deb is an ace bowler and enjoys spending time with her children.
Mark Beverly 
Mark has been here close to a year after working at the Greylock Animal Hospital as a Vet Tech for more than ten years. A graduate of Mt. Greylock Regional High School and Berkshire Community College, Mark has also attended many courses at MCLA. A resident of New Ashford, Mark lives with family and has two brothers, Matthew and Lucas and a sister Sandra. In addition to his 6 dogs, 3 cats, 2 ferrets, 1 rabbit, 5 guinea pigs, 2 love birds, 1 cockatiel and 1 gold capped conure Mark also is the caretaker for: 1 bearded dragon, 1 red foot tortoise, 2 green anales, 6 ball pythons, 1 red tailed boa, 5 Honduran milksnakes, 28 (yes, 28!) cornsnakes, 1 potbellied pig, and "just a handful" of tropical fish. This comes as no surprise but Marks hobbies and interests include color and pattern genetics in colubrid snakes and reptile husbandry and medicine.
Jen Tatro
Jen is our resident Animal Dental Hygenist and really enjoys every minute of it. Jen thoroughly enjoys the company of all four-legged creatures large and small. Before joining us Jen worked at the Bennington Humane Society doing "everything from soup to nuts". She has been a Veterinary Technician for more than six years and has worked in other animal hospitals in Berkshire County. Jen lives in Northern Berkshire County with her husband and two handsome and rambuctious Siberian Huskies, Keegan and Nakita. The Tatros enjoy hiking, camping and river rafting (yes, with the Huskies) and gardening.
Michelle Del Grande 
Michelle is our newest hospital employee and is training to become a Veterinary Technician. Her prior work history includes being the Kennel Manager for Noah's Retreat for two full years and working in the boarding and grooming department at Bilmar Veterinary Hospital in Great Barrington, MA. Michelle is a graduate of Monument Mountain High School and lives at home with her Mom and Dad and her brother. Her animal family includes: one cat, two birds, a fiddler crab and an assortment of fish. When not at the hospital Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends and animal companions and traveling.
Missy Meyer-Wood
Missy joined us in the fall of 2006 as a full time receptionist. She has an Associates degree in Environmental Science from Berkshire Community College and holds a Certificate in Canine Massage. For the past four years Missy worked as a full time Veterinary Technician. Her special interests and hobbies include: canoeing, biking and gardening and spending time playing with her four leged friends Max, The Soccer Playing Yellow Lab and Teisha, an inherited Pekinese mix. Missy lives with her husband Chris and stepson Garret.
Karen Sicotte
Karen joined us in January 2007 after working in the Animal ER for two years. Karen particularly enjoys the excitement of ER "nightlife" and emergency medicine but is enjoying getting to know our clients and patients. Karen spent many years in the banking industry before joining a local veterinary hospital as a kennel assistant. She has owned and operated a horse ranch with her sister Lisa teaching horse care to children as well as adults with mental health disabilities. Karen was trained as a veterinary technician several years ago and continues her animal care education as a member of the VECCS (Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society). She has three sisters, two children; Alicia and Joseph both attending college, a niece Jessica, an intern with the Animal ER, and with whom she shares a horse named My Tex-is Silver. Karen is owned by a cat named Broken Femur Head Fred (Femur), two dachshunds Pierre Po Tate O (Tatie), Scout Look Out (Scoutie), one coon hound Philleep (Phil) and a rabbit Creme Bun ne a.k.a. Rufus Rabbit.
