We are currently hiring for a Full Time Client Care Coordinator
at Pittsfield Veterinary Hospital


We provide care for dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

  • Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • ???????A Customer Service background with typing/computer knowledge and skills.
  • We also require significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment, preferably in the animal medical field.
  • Personal requirements include someone who can smile and maintain an even, friendly demeanor while on the job.
  • ???????Display tact and respect with team members even when busy or hectic.
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with other employees.
  • And learn quickly how to pronounce and know the meaning of and spell commonly used veterinary terms.
  • Work also requires lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods of time, and being exposed to unpleasant odors, noises, and animal feces.
  • This is not a sit-down job.
  • ???????We require at least 1 weekend day availability in your schedule.
  • Full-time employment consists of 35 or more hours each week with a 4-day work week.
  • In this position, you will admit patients and handle medical record entries accurately.
  • Handle client/patient transfers with ease.
  • Prepare client invoices for services performed.
  • Accurately handle payment transactions.
  • Work to maintain an effective veterinarian appointment schedule, screening emergencies and prioritizing cases that need to be seen.

We started a Community Client Care program. This program helps disabled and elderly locals who have difficulty taking care of their pets by offering our services and paying a portion or all of their vet bill, discounted or free grooming, discounted or free food, and/or discounted or free pet retail products.

The Berkshires also have numerous trails, including part of the Appalachian Trail, large tracts of wilderness and parks, the Berkshire Botanical Garden, and the Hebert Arboretum. The south county area includes Bash Bish Falls, the tallest waterfall in Massachusetts.
